There have been many religions in the history of the world and in today’s time. Mostly, religions are based over “Good” and “Bad” philosophies. But some of them have personal values of good and some have absolute values of good. The personal good is a perceptional good which is acquisitive through different practices but the absolute good is from The Divine who is the creator and he knows all about his creation and declares good and bad for us.
We are going to discuss the religion which is absolute from The divine (Allah) and today’s question is what is islam?; The Abrahamic religion and about islam.

Abrahamic Religion

The Abrahamic Religion
Islam is an Abrahamic religion which was also practiced by Prophet Abraham and his followers. There are 3 phases of Abrahamic religion (1) Judaism (2) Christianity (3) Islam.
These are not three religions rather they are 3 phases of knowledge or revelation from the Divine (Allah) over different Prophets in different times.

Concept Of Divine (Allah) in Abrahamic religion:
Abrahamic religion is based on monotheism. There are no concepts of different deities (polytheism) in it. These religions are prohibiting its followers to believe in Polytheism and keep their belief only in one God.
Concept of The God in Islam

Concept of Revelation in Abrahamic religion
In Abrahamic religion the concept of Prophethood (a chosen one from the Divine for the communication with human beings) exists. The revelations from the Divine were descended over The Prophets and Messengers in different time spans in the form of books or through Angels as intuitions. The books or revelations are written below:
Judaism: The Torah (also known as the Pentateuch or the Five Books of Moses)
Christianity: The Bible is the Christian holy book. It is divided into the Old and New Testaments
Islam: The Qur’an is the holy book for Muslims, revealed in stages to the Prophet Muhammad over 23 years.

Connection between Religions
There are very straight and strong connections between these religions. At the time of Prophet Moses, revelations from The Divine were precise for the nation or followers of Prophet Moses. Moses announced the order of Divine which were about the Prophet Essa (Jesus) and The Last Prophet Muhammad (s). When Prophet Jesus came the revelations were amended for his followers by The Divine, the Divine revealed an intuition about arrival of The Last Prophet Muhammad (s). Over both Prophets,
the basic laws from divine didn’t change but the rules amended for the betterment of humanity.

Islam The only Religion
The Last Prophet Muhammad (s) was Born in 571 AD and with the order of Allah he announced his Prophethood at age of 40 years but in between he was serving the humanity for betterment. He was chosen as The Last Prophet of Allah (The God) for human beings. After the announcement of prophethood he started preaching Allah’s order (Quran’s revelations) and he testified the Prophethood of Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, other Prophets and also testified his own self as The Last Prophet and Messenger of Allah. The meaning of word Islam means “Peace” and Muslim “who makes peace”.

O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you
